Saturday night, as my friends and I were sitting around watching Kelly make her fabulous risotto and drinking prosecco with passionfruit juice and raspberries (yum), we decided to put Chelsea’s famous nail pens/polishes to use and give ourselves fancy manicures. Saturday was spent shopping for professional clothes for my new job. Since I’ve spent the last three years working out of my house, I have very few items in my closet that qualify as work appropriate. In fact, many of my clothes fall under the “I have completely let myself go because I work from home” category. There was a time when I would spend the entire week in the same pair of sweatpants. Like, a couple of weeks ago. I’m looking for key pieces – slacks, pencil skirts, blazers, and cardigans – that I can mix and match with each other and with things I already have.
