I’m SO thrilled about all of you who have decided to participate! If you don’t have a blog but want to join in, feel free to leave your answers in the comments. Also, we’ll be using the Twitter/Instagram hashtag #cbdiet, if you want to link up there.
Without further ado, here’s my survey for this week:
- Weigh-in: Starting point.
- Exercise completed: So far this week, I’ve gone for a run twice, and attended 1 yoga class and 1 Pilates class. Not too shabby. Hoping to squeeze in one more run by the weekend.
- Splurge/Guilty Pleasure: Raspberry Shock Top with a squeeze of orange. I can’t do light beer. It has no flavor. This is a refreshing summer beverage, and totally acceptable on the #cbdiet — if you can stop after one.
- Success story: I started this group/feature! It’s been on my mind forever, but I was afraid to start it, because I wasn’t sure what kind of response I whould get. Well, I should have remembered that you guys are awesome. I’m excited to see where this goes in the coming weeks/months.
- Recipe(s): Lunch is slowly becoming my favorite meal of the day. My favorite lunches this week were: Light Tuna Melt (100 calorie English muffin, tuna with olive oil mayo, and thin slices of cheese); Turkey Pinwheels (whole wheat tortillas with light cream cheese and turkey); and soft tacos (whole wheat torillas, fat free refried beans, veggies, salsa, & Greek yogurt). Favorite dinners were: Chipotle Chicken Taco Salad (which also made a great lunch leftover) & Penne Rosa with Shrimp. Sometimes healthy meals take a little longer to make due to the prep work, but they’re worth it. Also, fruits & veggies are my BFFs.

Kept it brief this week since it’s the first round…I’m sure I’ll have lots more to say in the future. Can’t wait to read everyone’s posts!

Excited to join in!
And thaaaank you for the lunch ideas! I can’t ever think of anything yummy and HEALTHY to eat for lunch. I’m not big on salads I make myself (I like those 1,000-calorie salads from restaurants…) and soups never seem to fill me up. The tuna melt sandwich looks YUM!
Rhona says:
Mmm the tuna melt looks yummy! I’ve been making my lunches for the week on Sunday and putting them in tupperware so I can grab and go. Barbecue chicken, steamed veggies and whole wheat cous cous!

Thanks for the button & code! I am excited for all of us. I like this because we can all use what works for us – but we’ve got support and accountability.
Jill says:
I think I’m going to try those turkey pinwheels! Yum! I think instead of cream cheese, I might use those little laughing cow wedges…they are low in calories and come in a variety of flavors. Delicioso! Healthy eating is my greatest challenge…I have terrible habits.
Melanie says:
Girl! Look at all those fruits a veggies! You do me proud :)
Amanda says:
Excited! :) Maybe “motivated” is more appropriate…
Tabaitha says:
Your lunches look great. Need to remember to take more pictures of fun stuff, besides just the kids:)

I Don’t really have a blog…(tumblr doesn’t count.)
I started eating well, and working out back in Feb. so far losing 40lbs. With the help of MFP. However, this week is not a really good one for me (YOU KNOW WHY) i haven’t been eating well, and exercise is not on the agenda…but that all stops tomorrow. I join the gym tomorrow. In order to prepare for my goal of climbing Enchanted Rock, in one month. So this cbdiet will be so helpful to me really really soon. So thankful you’re doing this. Love you!
LRH in SD says:
Current weight: Starting pt.
Exercise: I work at a daycare, so playing with kids all day is a bit of work-out, and we have had three days at the pool, where I end of running around as well as lifting and throwing kids into the water!
Splurge: Dessert after lunch and dinner everyday this week… Whoops. (I just found this diet today, in my defense… Haha)
Success: Being more excited to get out and play with the kids I work with instead of watching them play.
Recipes: Grilled veggies! Zuccini, yellow squash, carrots, peppers–cover in a little EVOO, and whatever herbs you have on hand (I like oregano)
