I think it’s pretty dang clear that I love my dog. Click here for Pancho’s life story, if you’re into that kind of thing (read: a crazy dog lady like me). To sum up: we’ve had Pancho for nearly the entirety of our marriage, and while he has ended up being a little high maintenance, we love him like he’s our kid. A hairy kid with epilepsy and an anxiety disorder.
To celebrate Pancho’s birthday last week, we had a mini party using Mighty Dog as a makeshift cake. Apparently Pancho had a little too much of the celebratory bubbly, because he passed out later that evening. Modesty patch compliments of picnik.com. You’re welcome.
I feel like I talk about Pancho more than Leia (because I do), so I’ll keep this short and sweet in the interest of equal opportunity. Here are the 4 top reasons Pancho is awesome:
1. He smells like cheese popcorn.
2. He is always happy to see me (even if that happiness comes with a little pee).
3. He lives to snuggle.
4. He has Tina Turner hair that looks like it’s been crimped after it gets wet.
To sum up, my dog is pretty great and I love him. Happy Birthday Pancho! Here’s to many more.

:D Feliz Cumpleanos Pancho!!! He is pretty dang cute. I think I’ve already told you that our landlord will charge us an extra $70 of rent a MONTH if we get a dog. That means no dog for us. We could move, but I’m in love with the kitchen in our apartment! Chances are we may move soon anyway. That’s the beauty of the big city and renting; you’re not tied down just yet.
