New Job, the honeymoon edition.

In the last 2 days, I’ve:

  • Worked 19 hours.
  • Eaten 2 free (gourmet) lunches. Thank you, Hotel Employees Get Free Lunch Rule.
  • Made 20-something sales calls.
  • Proofread & edited a wine pairing guide.
  • Asked half a billion questions, give or take.
  • Done my hair… two days in a row.
  • Put together a social media plan of action attack.
  • Worn cute shoes… two days in a row.
  • (It’s amazing what pretty hair + cute shoes can do for your work morale.)
  • Began to build relationships with some truly amazing people.
  • Felt more excited about my job than I ever thought was possible.
I know, I’m still in the honeymoon stage. I’m sure the long hours and working weekends will catch up to me eventually. But so far, I am loving every minute of my new job. Thanks for all the sweet comments on my last post, and thanks for letting me gush over my new job a little more. Hopefully we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled (read: not scheduled at all) LfT programming soon! <3
