Weekend Screen Shots v.06 {The Holiday Edition}

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Weekend Screen Shots post! Since I happened to snap a few photos with my iPhone & camera this weekend, here’s a glimpse into my life the weekend before Christmas…

I love weekends that are spent relaxing with good food & movies. Friday night we spent the evening with our friends Sean (who is also in grad school) & his wife Melanie, celebrating the end of the semester with homemade pizza, beer, & The Other Guys. Saturday, we ran some holiday errands during the day, & that evening locked ourselves in with omelets, red wine, & The Town (and the season 3 finale of Dexter – OBSESSED). Sunday we took some Christmas/belated anniversary photos, decorated our tiny tree (finally), & drove around looking at Christmas lights. We found some snazzy hats in our boxes of Christmas decor, so of course an impromptu photoshoot was necessary. You’re welcome.

I’m not ready for Monday, but knowing that I only have 3 days of work left in 2010 is enough to get me through. Lots of little things to do before we start the Christmas festivities on Wednesday, but I’m happy to say I think I’m finally in the Christmas spirit. Just in time!

Sounds like you had a great weekend. I printed and assembled a bazillion invitations for my sisters bridal shower, did some christmas shopping, went to an ugly sweater christmas party and went to a game night setup to introduce my husbands best friend to my best friends kid sister. Matchmaker was actually one of the words in our pictionary game. I’m so ready for a short week – only a few more presents to get! Have a Merry Christmas!
