Never were there such devoted sisters.
My sister is pretty great, & here’s why:
She’s my running buddy.
Since she’s known me since I was 3, she always seems to know exactly what I mean.
She took care of me & my butt in the hospital.
She looks a lot like Lea Michele from Glee (but prettier!).
She works as a nanny for an ex-model and somehow acquired $200 skinny jeans for me.
The other day, she texted me from the airport & said: “In the international arrivals there is a huge boot surrounded by hay bales… this is why people from other countries think Texans are country bumpkins.”
And since our birthdays are 9 days apart (2/24/89 & 3/5/86), we thought it fitting to have our weddings 9 months apart. Actually, we didn’t plan that at all. Furthermore, our parents are glad that year of their lives is over.
She’s also the person I have these conversations with:
Katherine- YOU DIDN’T WORK OUT!?!
Lauren- I had to work/cook dinner/blahblahblah
Katherine- DEAD FATTY (Said like Jilian from biggest loser to one of the contestants.. “Every time I look at you I’m going to think, dead father!!!”)
Lauren- YOU COULD ENCOURAGE ME!
Katherine- Good job not working out.
Because her birthday is coming up (February 24th), & she is hilarious, I thought it would be entertaining if we did a Q&A – Ask The Sister. We’ll do a vlog & answer questions. It’ll be funny, promise.
Know how I know? Just the other day, she asked me, “In the song Hard by Rhianna, is she talking about bloggers?”

Oh my goodness, that would have been a crazy year! I wish I had that relationship with my sister- unfortunately we can be a difficult bunch and she’s kind of our queen of the stubborn lol

HAHAHA hubs and I thought she was saying “where dem black girls at…” which we found kinda offensive, I’ll have to tell him bloggers!
Questions questions let me think…
1) What’s kept you guys so close do you think? Because I have two sisters in law that pretty much hate each other and really only speak out of obligation. They couldn’t be more opposite. For instance, one is nice and one is the devil. I’m just sayin! I think it’s amazing you guys are so close and my only child self is completely jealous.
2) Have you noticed that [and this is due to my FB stalking prior to coming here] you guys married flip mode people? Allow me to explain….Lauren married a dark haired / eyed guy and Katherine married blondie / light eyes. I think it further proves your sisterly love.
3) Do your ears hang low…do they wobble, to and fro?
4) Do you share EVERYTHING [oh and I do mean everything...I'm talking SCANDALOUS past occurences, if you have them!] with each other?
5) The weeping thing totally cracked me up. Do you have other sister speak?

Anyway, would you guys like to be pregnant with your first babies at the same time? My sister and I were (totally not planned) and it was great! Her second baby and my first baby were born twelve days apart. So cool to go through everything with someone who I am so close too.
Also, Lauren you have motivated me to keep running even though some days my butt/legs scream “STOP”!
