And The Winner Is…
I sat down tonight to complete the final part of my giveaway, the drawing. I am sure there are much, much fancier ways to do this (Pioneer Woman doesn’t use scraps of paper for her giveaways, does she?), but I don’t know what they are. Maybe one of you should help me out for next time. Anyway, here’s the process I used tonight.
Step 1, write down everyone’s name – once if you commented, twice if you blogged/tweeted about the giveaway:
Shockingly, I needed more than one piece of paper!
Step 2, cut y’all up!
Step 3, place into my favorite medium-sized Pyrex bowl.
Step 4, interrupt my husband’s Monday Night Football ritual and make him draw, so I wouldn’t be accused of favoritism.
He had no idea what he was doing this for.
Me: “JUST DRAW! I DON’T HAVE TIME TO EXPLAIN! I HAVE A BLOG TO RUN!”

For giveaways, we use a random number generator like http://www.random.org/ and the numbers correspond to the comment numbers. Make sense? Hope that helps!
