GPOYW – The Platinum Edition.

I am posting a picture of myself a) because it’s GPOYW, and b) I got my hair done in Canada.

Who knows how long the blonde will last, since it’s hard to maintain hair this blonde (blondes, you know what I am talking about!). I should memorialize it while I still can. I have been using this shampoo lately and it seems to really be helping as far as combating the brassiness and keeping the platinum highlights nice and cool. Now if only I could find a shampoo to keep roots from creeping in.

purple shampoo
Be warned – it’s EXTREMELY purple when it comes out of the bottle, but it won’t stain your hair (my nails do look a little “purplish” – but I’ve used it the last 3 days in a row). Leave it in for 3-5 minutes after lathering before rinsing it out.

And no, Joico did not pay me to write this post. Although, if someone from Joico is reading this, I could be persuaded to write more reviews in exchange for some free products! (Hey, it’s worth a shot.) I do love their K-PAK products and Silk Result Sheer Gloss.

Speaking of which – anyone (and I do mean anyone) who has anything (and I do mean anything – within reason!) they would like to be reviewed on this blog, feel free to shoot me an email at laurenfromtexas (at) gmail (dot) com. I love writing product reviews (as evidenced on this blog) and will gladly offer myself up as a guinea pig for any and all free stuff.

More pictures to come soon.
